Supervisory Advanced Practice Nurse (Nurse Practitioner)

Direct supervision of all Nurse Practitioners providing outpatient primary care in the Primary Care Medical Home and/or urgent care in the Emergency Department. Collaboration with WRSU leadership in recruiting and hiring using approved IHS and WRSU processes. Selecting for awards, exercising disciplinary action, assuring development and implementation of PMAPs. Assuring services meet all accreditation requirements, and supporting area and national IHS nurse practitioner work force leadership activities. Assume responsibility for providing comprehensive health maintenance and therapeutic medical care for patients, including health status evaluation and education, diagnostic assessment, preventative care, treatment, care coordination, and follow-up. Supports Primary Care Medical Home concept, including appropriate delegation to allied personnel and other activities in support of clinical efficiency. Collects data from multiple sources using assessment techniques that are appropriate to the patient's age, developmental stage, language, culture, and prior diagnoses and recognizes special risks, including social and developmental concerns. Education:
A graduate or higher level degree in nursing from an accredited professional nursing educational program in the area of expertise or specialty indicated by the position. This education must have been accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs, Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education, or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained. Degree from Foreign Nursing School:
Successful completion of a graduate or higher level degree from Foreign Nursing School with a specialty as a Family Nurse Practitioner or equivalent educational program that meets the requirements for this position:

Successful completion of a graduate or higher level degree in nursing from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner educational program. Licensure:

In addition, they must possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a professional nurse from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION, GS-0610-14:
Your resume must demonstrate at least (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks. Examples include:
Ability to care for patients with complex medical conditions, ability to communicate medical information to patients, clinical staff and providers, knowledge of medical and clinical protocols, ability to teach and share knowledge with colleagues and those in training, and ability to gather and provide preliminary analysis of gathered data. You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
