Perform duties without more than normal supervision. Use judgment in maintaining sanitary condition of the hospital with consideration to patients. Follow proper cleaning techniques when working in contaminated areas of the hospital. Follow safety and sanitary rules for materials and equipment used. Performs housekeeping functions such as scrubbing, stripping, waxing, and polishing floors; dusting and washing walls and windows. Clean lavatories, patient beds and units; vacuum carpets, cleans emergency and delivery rooms, offices and storage areas. To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. For positions requiring positive education requirements, or if you are using education to meet all or part of the qualification requirements, you MUST submit a copy of your transcripts or an itemized list of college courses which includes equivalent information from the transcript (course title, semester/quarter hours, and grade/degree earned) in your resume. Must be able to follow instructions by working independently without more than normal supervision. Must be able to use judgment in performing duties with consideration to patients. Must be able to work safely to lift and move objects in performance of duties. Must be able to use common cleaning tools, and operate and maintain heavy powered equipment PHYSICAL EFFORT:
Moderate heave physical effort is used occasionally in moving, setting up, and working from ladders and scaffolds. Frequently they must lift and move objects weighing about 40 pounds, and occasionally objects weighing 50 pounds. WORKING CONDITIONS:
Usually work indoors, in areas which normally have adequate heat, light and ventilation. They are exposed to vibration from heavy equipment and to skin irritants from strong cleaning solutions used in stripping floors, etc. Care is required to avoid serious injuries when working on ladders and scaffolds and when using heavy powered equipment. To qualify for this position you must meet the screen-out element. This screen-out element is a critical self-assessment of the applicant's experience and are essential for satisfactory job performance. Time-In-Grade Requirements:
Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP). You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement. Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
